2009 in Review

I started wondering about all the things that changed this year at LoC and thought it would make a excellent blog post.

First there was new equipment. I upgraded my Canon Rebel XT to a Canon 5D Mark II. Sure there it came with a lot more pixels, but the real change was the improvement in image quality, colors and contrast that camera brought with it. It also introduced me to HD video and I’ve started to have time to really play with that feature.

Besides the camera I also added an Alien Bee 800 and a large softbox for it. It’s been a great light to add to my smaller speedlight strobes.

Finally, just recently, I updated the website to what you see now. I’m really happy with. I’m hoping all the regular visitors and potential clients like it as well.

Next year should be a good one. I’m hoping to expand the content here at LoC. Let me know what you want to see!

@Andrea – I don’t think you were with me on the March trip to Fairport. We went in December during the blizzard! Gotta do that again this year.

I can’t believe how the year has flown by! Nor the fact that we went to Fairport Harbor in March! Holy crap! Now I want to do a year in review……… If I DO decide to I’ll link you in for giving me the props!
