The thing about working in the city you grew up in is that you are always crossing paths with people you have connections with somehow. In this case, Jake’s dad when to high school with one of my brothers. I had no idea until we got to talking about locations for the pictures – but still, sort of neat.
I met Jake and his parents at a newer park in the area on a beautiful fall night. We had been planning for rain locations and ended up completely lucking out on the weather. After a bit of time at the park we drove into Downtown Willoughby and wrapped up the session with a few shots around town. Somebody was even nice enough to have just repainted the Kliefelds mural for us!
