I met Katie when she was a bridesmaid in Samantha and Will’s wedding earlier this year. A couple weeks after the wedding her mom got in touch with me and asked if I’d be available to take her senior photos if they made the drive up from Columbus. Of course I would be! It’s always great to get the people you already know as new clients!
The morning of the shoot was pretty miserable and we had planned to meet outside but had an indoor back-up plan. It was cold and rainy, but I had been watching the radar closely all morning and was confident the rain would stay away. I wasn’t so sure the sun would come out, but I was willing to setting for dry as the fall colors were really starting to pop and I knew they would look good even against a grey sky. Luck was on my side, though, and as we started shooting at Squire’s Castle the sun made an appearance!
The session turned out great and Katie is already planning a session again in the spring!
