Paul Lender, Environmental Photographer
Exhibit Dates: May 1, – July 6, 2009
Paul Lender, an environmental photographer, has his work currently on display throughout the first floor of the Mandel School. According to his artist statement, he strives to capture the world around him as close as possible to the way he sees it. He aspires not only to highlight the beauty found in expansive landscapes, but also the magnificence found in small details.
Lender’s passion is a recent one; he became interested in photography in high school but rediscovered it when the digital format made it more accessible to him. A few years ago, he purchased his first digital SLR camera and developed his style by shooting as often as possible.
Paul Lender’s work has been displayed at the Kelly Randall Gallery in Cleveland, the Michael Stefan Salon in Willoughby, and the Lava Lounge in Cleveland. In 2008, Lender formed Left of Center Photography, a business that focuses on portrait photography. More information on Mr. Lender’s work is available on his website: https://locphoto.com/
